Methodology: This study was a prospective study done at GGH, Guntur, which is a tertiary care center. The study was done over a period of 30 months that is between October 2015 to September 2017 to evaluate the patient demography, patient profile, incidence, causes of various urogenital fistula, the diagnostic criteria and surgical methods for correction of urogenital fistula, and to compare the outcomes with the existing studies. Results: Mean age of presentation of fistula was 36.9yrs with vvf being the most common type. Majority of them had gynaecological etiology and total incontinence being most common symptom. Most fistula were 1 to 2cm in size. Both abdominal and vaginal approaches for VVF can give excellent results in carefully selected cases. Conclusion: Successful outcome can be achieved with carefully planned and performed surgery. The best chance of a successful repair is at the first attempt.
