A Survey on Resource Provisioning Approaches in Mobile Cloud Computing

Abstract :

The emerging growth in technology trends and the inventions of new mobile applications uplifted the new computing technology namely mobile cloud computing. Mobile cloud computing is the amalgamation of cloud computing and mobile devices to overwhelm the downsides of mobile devices such as battery power, memory capacity. As known, Cloud computing is the integration of various computing technologies. The important characteristic is on demand resource allocation. Resource allocation is a major issue in mobile cloud computing. In this paper, the various resource allocation methods are surveyed according to their performance and efficiency.
