IMPACT OF PERSONAL VARIABLES ON CREATIVITYAMONG HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

Abstract :

<p>A study was conducted on 600 high school students to find out the effect of gender, locality of residence and class of </p> <div>study on creativity. Creativity Scale developed by Venkatarami Reddy was used to assess the verbal creativity of the </div> <div>students. Results revealed that there is significant impact of gender, locality of residence and class of study on creativity </div> <div>among high school students. Boys are high in their creativity than girls, students hailing from urban areas are secured higher creativity when </div> <div>compared with rural students and the students studying different classes differed in their creativity. X class students possess high creativity than </div> <div>VIII and IX class students and IX class students fall in between. </div>
