Objectives of Islamic Education in Muslim School Curriculum

Abstract :

The present paper highlights the taxonomy of educational objectives with special reference to Islamic Education in Muslim School Curriculum at different level of schooling in Maktabs, Madarsas, Schools, Colleges and Universities. The present paper not only highlights the different level of educational/instructional objectives but also explains how to construct the educational/Instructional objectives at three psychological domains of learners behaviour: Cognitive, Affective and Psychomotor. The present paper makes indepth analysis of taxonomy of educational/ Instructional objectives in teaching of Muslim and Islamic education in Muslim School Curriculum at different level of Schooling . In most of the cases in our Muslim Education System, the traditional system of teaching learning process is going on. An effective teaching learning process in congenial and dynamic classroom situation enhances the system of Muslim and Islamic Education throughout the world of learning so that after receiving education, the Muslim learners could become more capable, adjustable, acceptable, knowledgeable and have the best understanding, application power, skills, values (particularly Islamic values), best qualities of leadership, critical and rational thinking powers, reasoning powers, the best scientific temper and coordination power with their inner and outer world in the whole cosmos.
