RADIOLOGICAL EVALUATION OF BREAST MASSES

Abstract :

A lump in the east is a cause of great concern. High frequency, high-resolution USG helps in its evaluation. This is exemplified in women with dense east tissue where Mammography is useful in detecting small east cancers that are not seen on Sonography. Several studies in the past have addressed the issue of differentiating benign from malignant lesions in the east with the help of various imaging modalities. The American College of Radiology has also ought out a BIRADS-US classification system for categorizing focal east lesions
