Recent Trends in Indian Automobile Sector

Abstract :

This research investigates the Production, Domestic Sales and Export trends of the Indian automobile sector using the two financial years data from 2012-13 and 2013-14, and employ the findings to estimate the percentage changes in this sector. The study selected entire segments – two-wheelers (mopeds, scooters, motorcycles, electric two-wheelers), passenger vehicles (passenger cars, utility vehicles, multi-purpose vehicles), commercial vehicles (light and medium-heavy vehicles), and three wheelers (passenger carriers and good carriers).
