Interview schedule consisted of both open and closed ended questions which elicited information about mother’s socio demographic profile and selected east feeding practices. Pearson Chi-square test of comparison between groups was applied to evaluate the relationship between income level, family type of mother and eastfeeding practices. The results showed a statistically significant association between the demographic variables and selected east feeding practices.
