				<title>ABSTRACT</title>
				<p>&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;&amp;amp;lt;p&amp;amp;gt;&amp;amp;amp;nbsp;Although technology still dominates, human resources and how they are managed is receiving increased attention&amp;amp;amp;nbsp;&amp;amp;lt;/p&amp;amp;gt; &amp;amp;lt;div&amp;amp;gt;in the analysis of gaining competitive advantage. Yet, many complex questions remain. This study first examines the&amp;amp;amp;nbsp;&amp;amp;lt;/div&amp;amp;gt; &amp;amp;lt;div&amp;amp;gt;theoretical understanding of employee engagement . Our study discoveries additionally demonstrate that the broadly&amp;amp;amp;nbsp;&amp;amp;lt;/div&amp;amp;gt; &amp;amp;lt;div&amp;amp;gt;perceived psychological condition of self&amp;amp;amp;ndash;efficacy may give both comprehension and fortify the employee engagement&amp;amp;amp;ndash;managerial adequacy&amp;amp;amp;nbsp;&amp;amp;lt;/div&amp;amp;gt; &amp;amp;lt;div&amp;amp;gt;relationship, and in this way, would appear to give increased the value of work environment results and administration advancement. Despite&amp;amp;amp;nbsp;&amp;amp;lt;/div&amp;amp;gt; &amp;amp;lt;div&amp;amp;gt;the fact that the discoveries did not help the administrators self&amp;amp;amp;ndash;efficacy as a complete go between of the employee engagement&amp;amp;amp;ndash;managerial&amp;amp;amp;nbsp;&amp;amp;lt;/div&amp;amp;gt; &amp;amp;lt;div&amp;amp;gt;adequacy relationship, results did demonstrate that both enthusiastic and cognitive measurements of employee engagement had immediate&amp;amp;amp;nbsp;&amp;amp;lt;/div&amp;amp;gt; &amp;amp;lt;div&amp;amp;gt;and roundabout impacts through the directors self&amp;amp;amp;ndash;efficacy on their apparent viability. The aim of the paper is to study the relationship between&amp;amp;amp;nbsp;&amp;amp;lt;/div&amp;amp;gt; &amp;amp;lt;div&amp;amp;gt;Employee Engagement and productivity. The respondents for the study are the employees of IT and ITES sector from Chennai and Bangalore.&amp;amp;amp;nbsp;&amp;amp;lt;/div&amp;amp;gt; &amp;amp;lt;div&amp;amp;gt;Questionnaire is used as the instrument for the study and respondents were taken. Likert&amp;amp;amp;rsquo;s five scale were used and in the questionnaire there&amp;amp;amp;nbsp;&amp;amp;lt;/div&amp;amp;gt; &amp;amp;lt;div&amp;amp;gt;are two variables employee engagement and productivity. It was found that there is a close relationship between employee engagement and&amp;amp;amp;nbsp;&amp;amp;lt;/div&amp;amp;gt; &amp;amp;lt;div&amp;amp;gt;productivity.&amp;amp;amp;nbsp;&amp;amp;lt;/div&amp;amp;gt;&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;</p>
