				<title>ABSTRACT</title>
				<p>The focus of this paper concerns a study of the quality of work life for the employees of service sector &amp;amp;ndash; with special 
reference to Hospitals. The aim of the paper is to determine whether and how the quality of work life affects the 
satisfaction level of nurses of hospitals and the implications of these findings suggest that quality of work life 
in hospitals can be enhanced by these factors as &amp;amp;ldquo;Attitude of management towards employees&amp;amp;rdquo;, &amp;amp;ldquo;Safe &amp;amp;amp; healthy working conditions&amp;amp;rdquo;, 
&amp;amp;ldquo;Opportunities to use &amp;amp;amp; develop human capacity&amp;amp;rdquo;, &amp;amp;ldquo;Opportunity for training &amp;amp;amp; career growth&amp;amp;rdquo;, &amp;amp;ldquo;Social integration in the work force&amp;amp;rdquo;, and 
&amp;amp;ldquo;Job Security&amp;amp;rdquo;.</p>
