Phyto–Chemical Investigation and Wound Healing Activity of Clerodendrum Philomides

Abstract :

The fresh flowers of Clerodendrum philomides is found to contain apigenin and apigenin 7–O–glucoside. The isolated compound is characterized by choromatography and UV spectral techniques. The flower extract has immense potential for the management and treatment of wounds. The ethyl acetate extract of Clerodendrum phlomidis is investigated for its wound healing property.
