Metal Ceramic FPDs are a type of fixed prosthesis that combines the strength and durability of metal with the aesthetic properties of ceramic making it an excellent treatment modality. However, over the years different treatment options have pushed back Metal ceramic due to the gradual rise in failures. This article analyzes the different aspects that are involved in metal ceramic failure and the major causation of loss of restoration.
