PEDIATERIC OSTEOMYELITS: ROLE OF MRI

Abstract :

Osteomyelitis is an infection of the bone, bone marrow and surrounding soft tissue.Pediatricosteomyelitis can be a challenging problem to both the clinician and the radiologist as the clinical presentation can be variable in severity, and laboratory results are relatively unsupportive in the diagnostic workup. Radiology plays an important role in its diagnosis and can also be helpful to guide treatment and intervention.
