SHORT Syndrome - A Bizarre genetic oddity

Abstract :

SHORT syndrome is a rare genetic anomaly with multiple birth defects affecting different organ systems. The terminology SHORT is an aidgment of its emblematic manifestations such as short stature, hyper extensibility of joints / hernia (inguinal), ocular depression, Rieger anomaly and teething delay.
