Medical screening has existed for about 60 years, and has a very rich history. The preclinical identification of disease has been a major component of modern medicine and public health. Marriage in ancient  India consisted solely a sacred ceremony where a bride by her family is married to a groom of a well reputed family when there were minimal worries regarding transmission of STDs because of the then existed cultural trends, lesser  literacy levels and female occupation rates,introversion of the community.
