Intracranial haemorrhage is one of the major causes of death encountered during medico legal autopsy. The most common cause of head trauma is Road traffic accidents and among all the lesion of the brain, intracranial haemorrhage is a very common finding observed. This retrospective study being carried out in the department of Forensic Medicine, Gauhati Medical College and Hospital with a view to bring out the various factors in intracranial haemorrhages. In our present study intracranial haemorrhages were present in all the cases which are the main clause of the study.
