To evaluate the performance of APACHE–II scoring system in predicting mortality in patients with perforation peritonitits. To evaluate the APACHE II score to allow identification of high risk patients.

To confirm the predictive value of the APACHE II score .

To identify the patients using APACHE II score for intensive

postoperative or ICU care.
