Cholecystectomy is the most common operation of the biliary tract and the second most common operative procedure performed today. Laparoscopic cholecystectomy decreases postoperative pain, allows earlier oral intake, shortens hospital stay, enhances earlier return to normal activity, and improves cosmesis. Several studies have demonstrated that less postoperative pain is associated with a reduction in number of ports.

Objective:

This is the observational prospective study for presentation of outcomes of two port

laparoscopic cholecystectomy in 33 patients admitted in Department of General Surgery, SMIMER HOSPITAL, SURAT from 1 January 2018 to 31 October 2018.

Methods:

It is a prospective randomized study conducted for duration from 1 january 2018 to 31 october 2018. Patients were diagnosed Gallbladder stones who were fullfilling inclusion criteria were included in our study after taking consent. After pre anesthesia fitness, all patients were subjected to laparoscopic cholecystectomy.

Results:

The new approach was used in 33 patients. Surgery was performed conveniently and successfully, with smooth and uneventful recovery. The average operating time was 62 minutes. No procedure related complication occurred neither any conversion was required.
