Introduction:–Dengue is the most important mosquito–borne, human viral disease in many tropical and sub tropical areas. In India the disease has been essentially described in the form of case series. The global picture of dengue in India is currently that of a largely endemic country. Materials and methods :Survey research approach and descriptive study design was used in the study .sampling technique used in the study was non probability convenience sampling. was conducted at Sawangi (M), Wardha In this study sample size was 30 mother of under 5 age group .Target Population:–the target population were the Rural area.The software used in the analysis were SPSS 22.0, EPI–INFO 6.0 and Graph Pad Prism 5.0 version and p<0.05 is considered as level of significance.Objectives :–1)To assess the knowledge score regarding dengue fever among general population in selected rural area.2)To associate the knowledge score with selected demographic variables
