An adult male with falciparum malaria infection whose parasites have cleared from the peripheral blood, developed acute onset flaccid paralysis. Clinical examination, imaging and nerve conduction study confirmed acute inï¬ammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy occurring after recovery from malaria.
