Introduction: Disinfectants are the anti–microbial agents that are applied to the surface of non–living objects to destroy micro–organism that are living on the object. Aim: The study aim to assess the knowledge of B.Sc Nursing students on disinfectants used in hospitals. Study Approach: The descriptive study approach was used. Sampling: stratified Probability sampling technique was adopted to select 100 B.Sc Nursing students. Tool and technique:Structured knowledge questionnaire was used to collect the data. Result: Result revealed that majority 49% students had good knowledge regarding disinfectants, 26% had average knowledge and 25% had poor knowledge. Chi–square analysis revealed, significant association found with knowledge and their age. Summary: knowledge of BSc nursing students regarding disinfectants is not adequate, need to educate students regarding disinfectants.
