Aim: We aimed to evaluate the association between patientcharacteristics and the histopathological diagnosis of endometrium, as well as to evaluate the association between endometrial thickness (ET) and histopathological diagnosis among women with post–menopausal bleeding (PMB). Materials and methods: Based on the pelvic examination of67 women with PMB; patient characteristics and findings were recorded. All women were evaluated by transvaginalsonography and endometrial biopsy (EMB). Results: The PMB time of endometrial adenocarcinoma (EAC)patients was 22.3 days on average, much longer than for others. The body mass index of EAC patients has been found to be higher than in other patients. Conclusion: Almost 4.5% of patients with PMB were diagnosedwith EAC, leading us to recommend that all patients with PMB should be tested for EMB. Special consideration should be given to patients with prolonged PMB and those who are obese.
