Isolated pancreatic injury following abdominal trauma, is an uncommon condition– Diagnosis usually insidious, needs multiple investigations including blood reports, physical examination, radiological tests. We report a case of a 25 years old male with a complete pancreatic transection, following blunt abdominal trauma. Distal pancreatectomy with spleen preservation was performed with successful postoperative period. We discuss diagnostic and therapeutic modalities in isolated pancreatic injury
