Alternative methods of wound closure after formal circumcision have been studied to decrease the repair time and complications, and to improve cosmesis. This was a prospective non–comparative preliminary clinical study involving 15 patients where Cyanoacrylate glue was used as a tissue adhesive for wound closure after formal circumcision. It was found that the repair time was short, complication rate was low and the cosmesis was good. Thus Cyanoacrylate glue may be considered as a useful alternative to suture closure for circumcision wounds.
