Diabetes has long been recognised as a major health problem and is frequently associated with microvascular and macrovascular complications. Microvascular causes include Nephropathy, retinopathy and Neuropathy. Microalbuminuria is one of the earliest markers to detect changes of diabetic nephropathy and suggests wide spread microvascular damage. Methodology: This study aims to find the prevalence of microalbuminuria among type 2 diabetes mellitus patients and find its correlation with the microvascular causes like Retinopathy, Nephropathy, Neuropathy. The study was conducted at SRMS– IMS, Bareilly with 100 Patients enrolled. Results: It was found that chances of developing diabetic nephropathy increases with duration of diabetes; the prevalence of retinopathy in microalbuminuric patients was found to be 69.3%;
