Objectives: The study was aimed to determine correlation bet¬ween mandibular parameters (gonial angle, ramus height, antegonial depth, bigonial width and bicondylar width) in gender and age in dentate people of Bagalkot population. Methods: A total of 2313 panoramic radiographs were evaluated and 200 were selected, 100 male and 100 females, were categorized into the age groups and gender, the mandibular parameters were marked and measured. Results: The males had a statistically significant larger ramus height, antegonial notch depth, bigonial width and bicondylar width. The females had a larger gonial angle as compared to males. The ramus height, bigonial width and bicondylar width showed a general trend of decrease with age and gonial angle and antegonial notch depth increased with age. Conclusion: These results suggested that mandibular parameters change with gender and with age.
