Color stability and fracture load of acrylic teeth are two important properties influencing esthetics and function of the prosthesis. The present study was conducted to evaluate and compare the color stability and fracture load of commercially available non cross–linked and cross–linked acrylic denture teeth after immersion in beverages. In this study, five different types of acrylic denture teeth specimens were selected and divided into 5 groups of 24 each. Out of the 24 specimens, eight from each group were immersed in three immersion media: distilled water(control), cola and coffee for 12 days. The color change was evaluated using spectrophotometer. Also the fracture load values after 12 days of immersion were obtained. It was concluded that the type of teeth and immersion media significantly influenced the color stability and fracture load values of acrylic denture teeth. However the overall effect was within clinically acceptable limits
