Rajasthan Healthcare & Infrastructure Status

Abstract :

The success or failure of any government in the final analysis must be measured by the well–being of its citizens. Nothing can be more important to a state than its public health; the state‘s paramount concern should be the health of its people. “Franklin Delano Roosevelt (quoted in Gostin, 2000). Despite the fact that the government of Rajasthan has define an objective of expanding government Health spending to 2–3 percent of total national output throughout the following five years, even with idealistic presumptions, it can‘t meet the stated objective. In the wake of poor health infra across the state, therefore researcher has tried to paint the clear and gloomy picture of health facilities across state. Providing Quality health services to the poor and unprivileged is like making ivory tower and far away for the ground reality unless state of the art health facilities are not developed in the state, which will also help state to boost its economy in light of medical tourism.
