Sarla Shashni
Abstract :
Integrated Pest Management (IPM) modules of different chemical, bio pesticides and insecticides were formulated to
check its effects on the insect, pest, disease incidence and yield attributes of cabbage crop in Kullu valley, Himachal
Pradesh. The study was carried out in field condition of rabi season, 2011 with five modules viz. M1, M2, M3, M4 and
M5 (control). Yield in q/ha, net additional return and net return per rupee invested was analyzed statically using appropriate transformation.
Result shows that the implementation of IPM modules reduces the number of insecticide/pesticide application with good economic return to the
farmers with added advantage to environment and human health.
