IMPACT OF PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL ON MOTIVATION, EMPLOYEE COMMITMENT& ORGANIZATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS IN BANKS OF UTTARAKHAND

Abstract :

 The present study examined the impact of performance appraisal on the motivation, employee commitment and organizational effectiveness in banks of Uttarakhand. 477 bank employees  were randomly selected from 12 scheduled commercial  banks of Uttarakhand state in India. The results of the study concluded that performance appraisal has a significant and positive impact on the motivation, employee commitment and organizational effectiveness in banks.
