Left ear was involved in 182(80%) patients. The most common cause was assault/slap in 160(70%). Tinnitus was the most common presenting complaint followed by ear block.178(79%)patients had grade 1 perforation with a size of less than 30 percent of the entire TM.143(62%) patients had perforation of posterior quadrant of tympanic memane. Residual perforation after 3 months was noted in 36(16%) patients.29 (80%) patients who had residual perforation had grade 2 or more sized traumatic perforation.
