A STUDY ON ANTERIOR CHEST WALL LUMP IN AYURVEDA: A CASE STUDY

Abstract :
Swelling or lump in the chest wall has been a quest for medical fraternity since time immemorial. The same could not be directly found in Ayurvedic methods of diagnosis. In this context, some diseases may be incorporated such as Arbuda, Gulma, Granthi, Vidhradhi etc. So, identification and diagnosis of a lump in anterior chest wall fromAyurvedic prospective is highly essential for better alternative treatment. For the study, a certain case of having lump in the chest wall was studied in Govt. Ayurvedic College &Hospital, Guwahati under strict protocol. Cytological study is suggestive of Lipoma which was later diagnosed with clinical parameters in Ayurveda.
