A STUDY ON THE PERSONALITY TRAITS AND LEADERSHIP QUALITY OF HIGH SCHOOL TEACHERS - GENDER WISE ANALYSIS

Abstract :
The investigator wants to find out whether there is any significant difference between male and female high school teachers in their personality traits – extroversion, openness, agreeableness, conscientiousness and neuroticism.The researcher has used Normative Survey as a method for obtaining the data. The present study consists of 300 high school teachers in Thirunelveli District. The sample was selected by using simple random sampling technique. The result showed that there is no significant difference between male and female high school teachers in their personality traits – extroversion, openness, agreeableness, conscientiousness and neuroticism.
