FEMININE SENSIBILITY IN ANITA NAIR‘S LADIES COUPE
T. Lavanya
Abstract :
Ladies Coupe is a very delineating feminine sensibility, despite the fact that this delineating is chiefly expressed through the projection of the crisis of social norms and inner urge for freedom. Akhilandeswari, is the chief protagonist of this novel, she is not an exceptional strong woman. She is just somebody coped with all. She wanted to be a good wife and mother. In the Ladies Coupe, Akhila meets five additional women, each of whom has a story to tell.
