IMPACT OF IMPERIALISM ON CULTURE IN CHINUA ACHUBE‘S THINGS FALL APART AND ARROW OF GOD
Dr. S. S. Srinivasan
Abstract :
The Europeans held a Euro–centric view of the world; firmly believing European culture to be superior. Euro centrism therefore perceives Europe as the core of civilization and of humanity. Euro centrism had racist tendencies which granted an inferior status to the non–Whites. Chinue Achube’s Things Fall Apart portrays this tendencies of Europe clearly.
