STUDY OF ANTIBACTERIAL ACTIVITY OF SELECTED INDIAN PLANTS

Abstract :

medicinal plants were traditionally used for the treating various diseases. Keeping this in mind the number of plants were explored for antibacterial activity analysis . Plants are rich in a variety of phytochemicals including tannins, terpenoids, alkaloids, and flavonoids which have been found in vitro to have antimicrobial properties. The six plants were selected under this research and two mediums i.e ethanol and methanol were explored for their antimicrobial activity
