A comparative study to assess the knowledge and attitude of adolescent on sex education in urban and rural schools in Bhopal

Abstract :

 A comparative approach was adopted in the study. Sample consists of 50 adolescent students in different school in urban & rural area in dist. Bhopal. Probability random sampling ( lottery) technique was used for the study .After the completion of pilot study, main study was conducted .analysis was done by using mean , standard deviation and chi square. Findings revealed that there are significant increase in knowledge and develop a positive attitude among the urban and rural school student on the aspects of human sexuality

The conceptual frame work adopted for the study was based on modified Pender’s test health promotion model. The study utilized a comparative research approach. The population considered of adolescents in urban and rural schools of Bhopal (M.P). A subject size of 50 adolescent students was selected using probability random sampling technique.
