Abstract :

A case of malrotated kidney with inguino scrotal hernia having dilated ureter as a content causing proximal dilation of pelvicalyceal system and ureter is an extremely rare entity, usually discovered incidentally during surgery {herniorrhaphy} and may pose a trap for general surgeon performing routine inguinal hernia repair. Early preoperative diagnosis is crucial to guide proper surgical approach and to preserve renal function.
