Abstract :

India is a developing country and Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are common problem in Indian industries. In Indian card–board industries we find MSDs is high i.e. the exposure of worker to MSD risk is high. All work is done manually by the workers. Most workers are male. The manual work load can therefore cause MSDs amongst the workers. In this paper the MSDs are observed by ergonomic body posture analysis tools. Body postural analysis using RULA, REBA indicates that the workers are working above the safe limit. Which tells us that the body posture in not safe, need investigation and change.
