A study to Assess the level of knowledge regarding home visit among the B.Sc. nursing 4th year students in selected college of Indore city.

Abstract :

A study to assess the level of knowledge regarding home visit among B.Sc nursing 4th year student in selected nursing college Indore . Aim: To Assess the level of knowledge among B.Sc nursing 4th year student regarding home visit . Materials and methods: A research design adopted for the study was descriptive design .Total 40 sample obtain from Bombay hospital college of nursing indore , sample selected by using sample random technique. Questionnaire schedule was used to assess the level of knowledge. The data was analysed by using the descriptive and inferential statistic.  Major finding of the study: . Among 40 students BSc nursing 4th year only 2.5% were between 18–19 years 65% BSc nursing 4th year students were 19–20 years ,and 25% BSc nursing 4th year students were 21–22 years of age group respectively  Among total responds most of the students that means 62.5% were Christians 30% were Hindus and no one Muslim and other religion  Among total respondent 100% of the BSc nursing 4th year student have previous knowledge from workshop, 2.5 % from the magazines ,40% from internets and 45% of students got the knowledge from other sources .  32.5% 4th year students have an excellent knowledge  62.5% 4th year students have a good knowledge  5% 4th year students have poor knowledge  Mean knowledge score of 4th year students are 13.4 percent  Standard deviation of BSc nursing 4th year students knowledge regarding home visit between demographic variable like previous and source of knowledge .0n the basis of above findings ,it was clear that is a significant association of knowledge score regarding home visit with their socio demographic variable like Age, Religion, and source of knowledge so H1 hypothesis is accepted But the socio demographic variable of previous is not significant so HO is rejected
