An Evaluation of Social Security of Workers in Organized Sectors of Erode District of Tamilnadu

Abstract :

Safety to human life when their job is the most important primary needs. The behaviour of the human being is not static and frequently changing accordingly to the change in general environment. The same human being occupying the position as employer try to dominate all the other people who have engaged in the name of employees. For the purpose of individual benefit the common employees are very easily exploited by the principal boss to big boss of the organizations. The poor employees are find difficult to claim the rights and raise their voice against the atrocities practiced by the employers of the private sector organizations. Generally the employees are ill-treated and overloaded with hectic work schedule. The employers running manufacturing industries are quoting and referring employees workload in IT industries and demanding more working hours on par with IT sector with poor salary structure. Having seen the burning issues the guide and researcher felt angry and very much worried on social disequiliium prevailing in the private sector industries in the study area. Hence the researcher and guide felt a dirt need to find better ways and means for rejuvenate the working conditions and make the employees as fully aware on social security measures and motivate them to claim the rights based on the statutory provisions given in the Social Security Acts hence this study.
