AN OPTIMAL SOLUTION TO FUZZY ASSIGNMENT PROBLEM USING ONES SUFFIX AND IMPROVED ONES SUFFIX METHOD

Abstract :

Assignment problem is a special type of linear programming problem in which our objective is to n number of jobs to n number of persons at a minimum cost(maximum profit).In this paper ones suffix and improved ones suffix methods are used to find the optimal solution to Triangular Intuitionistic fuzzy assignment problem. These methods require least iteration to get the optimality. Defuzzification Measure is used to convert Triangular Intuitionistic fuzzy assignment problem to crisp assignment problem. Numerical examples illustrate the efficiency of these methods.
