ATTITUDE OF PARENTS TOWARDS PRIVATE TUITION IN MANIPUR, INDIA.

Abstract :

 The present paper was an attempt to study “Attitude of Parents towards Private Tuition in Manipur”. Descriptive survey method was employed for the study. The study was conducted randomly from 100 parents of Imphal West District of Manipur whose children took private tuition. Self–designed questionnaire consisted of 30 which was to be ensured either ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ giving weight age from 0 to 1 or 1 to 0 was adopted. The results indicated that all the parents felt the need of private tuition as it has become a necessity to succeed in their future course of study and the practice has become so widespread that not going to private tuition seem to be something abnormal.
