Abstract :

Coronavirus disease (COVID–19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus. It is considered to be a pandemic disease of the year 2019–2020. The pandemic has caused severe global socioeconomic disruption, including the largest global recession and great depression.The virus that causes COVID–19 is mainly transmitted through droplets generated when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or exhales. This article deals with the etiology, pathogenesis, symptoms and preventive measures of coronavirus infection.
