Chylothorax and Chylous Ascites(Rare Presentation of a Rare Disease)

Abstract :

Chylothorax and chylous ascites are uncommon and usually associated with trauma , neoplasms or infections. To the best of our knowledge, Brachiocephalic/IJV thrombus leading to thoracic duct obstruction leading to chylothorax and chylous ascites is very rare.We are presenting the case of a 30 year old female (2 months post LSCS) with complaints of abdominal distension,pedaledema and dyspnea.
