COMPARATIVE STUDY OF MULTISTOREY RC BUILDINGS RESTING ON NORMAL & SLOPING GROUNDS BY SEISMIC ANALYSIS

Abstract :
From past earthquakes it is observed that it the structures are not properly analyzed constructed with required quantity this multistory building can be constructed using various structural systems. The most important object of this study is to graph the behavior of the structure in seismic zone. In this research the G+7 Storey building structure of size 15mx15m assumed to be located in seismic zones II, as per Indian standard code. Linear static and linear dynamic (response spectrum method) analysis has been performed using ETABS software for two building models and the dynamic response quantities such as fundamental time period, base shear, storey displacement and inter–storey drift were obtained for all the models.
