DETERMINANTS OF PRIVATE INVESTMENT IN EGYPT

Abstract :

 The study investigates determinants that affect private investment in Egypt as a developing country during the period 1983 – 2014. The study used multiple–regression. The study found out a positive relationship between (money supply, exchange rate, and GDP), and private investment. The study recommended the Egyptian Authorities to apply expansionary monetary policy, reforms in exchange policies, and accelerate growth rate of GDP, by the implementation of structural reform program, in order to increase private investment.
