Objectives: Evaluation of the effectiveness of oral amiodarone in prevention of perioperative junctional ectopic tachycardia in patients of Tetralogy of Fallot undergoing intracardiac repair. Materials and methods: 50 patients of Tetralogy of Fallot were divided into two groups of 25. One group received preoperative amiodarone before intracardiac repair whereas the other did not. Intraoperative and post–operative outcomes were examined.
