Abstract :

Ginsenosidesare are unique saponins that are isolated from the plantPanax ginseng, and are the prominent pharmacologically active ingredients in ginseng.In the current study, we aimed to estimate the amount of ginsenosides in Oriens^�–Panax ginsengcapsules, a widely known potential therapeutic choice in ayurveda, using gravimetric and HPLC method. We obtained a ginsenoside percentage of 5.61% and 7.95% respectively. Ginsenoside in Oriens^�–Panax ginseng capsule play a vital role in the medicinal effects of cardiovascular disease through improving blood circulation, regulation of lipid profile and in the treatment of neurodegenerative disorders.
