Dr. Bharti Devi Thaker, Dr. Subhash Bhardwaj

Abstract :

Castleman’s disease is a rare lymphoproliferative disorder of unknown etiology with two identified forms, the hyaline vascular type and the plasma cell type. It  usually presents as localized or generalized  lymphadenopathy or rarely as an  extra nodal mass and may give rise to different differential diagnosis. It is uncommon for castleman’s disease to present in the extremities. We report a rare case of extranodal  castleman’s disease presenting as a soft tissue mass in back of  right thigh.
