Abstract :

Fat necrosis of the east is a benign condition that most frequently affects peri–menopausal women.(1,2,3,4) . Although there is a definite association with trauma, surgery or biopsy of the east, not all patients present with a clear history for fat necrosis. .(1,2,3,4) It can mimic east cancer clinically or radiologically. .(1,2,3,4,6) In other cases it can obscure malignant lesions. Imaging features of fat necrosis vary depending on its stage of evolution and can mimic malignancy in late stages. .(1,6) Imaging may suffice to differentiate fat necrosis in the early stages from malignancy and thus avoid unnecessary biopsy. Fat necrosis of east is a complex process. .(1,2,5) Therefore, a systematic review of this condition will enable surgeons, radiologists and oncologists working in the field of east disease to understand it better and aspiration was performed which showed many large histiocytes with foamy cytoplasm .(1,2,3,5)
